📌 Dua #1: Complete Declaration of Faith

Arabic:
وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَّا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُوْلُهُ ، رَضِيْتُ بِاللهِ رَبًّا ، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُوْلًا ، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيْنًا

Transliteration:
Wa ana ash-hadu al-lā ilāha illa-llāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, wa anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhū wa rasūluh, raḍītu bi-llāhi rabbā, wa bi Muḥammadi-r-rasūlā, wa bi-l-islāmi dīnā.

Meaning:
I also bear witness that there is no god but Allah, Alone without any partner, and Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and His Messenger. I am content with Allah as my Lord, Muhammad as my Messenger, and Islam as my religion.

Virtue:
👉 The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever says this after hearing the Adhān, all his sins will be forgiven.”
(Muslim 386)


📌 Dua #2: Sending Blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ

Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Transliteration:
Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammad, wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad.

Meaning:
O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad.

Virtue:
👉 “Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send ten blessings upon him.”
(Muslim 384)


📌 Dua #3: Special Dua for Prophet’s Intercession

Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هٰذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ …
… آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ …
… وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُودًا الَّذِيْ وَعَدْتَّهُ

Transliteration:
Allāhumma rabba hādhihi-d-daʿwati-t-tāmmati wa-ṣ-ṣalāti-l-qāimah, āti Muḥammadan al-wasīlata wa-l-faḍīlah, wabʿath-hu maqāman maḥmūdan alladhī waʿadtah.

Meaning:
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the established prayer, grant Muhammad the means (of nearness to You) and virtue, and raise him to the praiseworthy station You have promised him.

Virtue:
👉 “Whoever says this after hearing the Adhān, my intercession will be permissible for him on the Day of Judgment.”
(Bukhārī 614)


🚶‍♂️ Dua While Going to the Masjid

Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِيْ قَلْبِيْ نُوْرًا …
… وَاجْعَلْ لِيْ نُوْرًا

Transliteration:
Allāhumma-jʿal fī qalbī nūrā, wa fī baṣarī nūrā, wa fī samʿī nūrā, wa ʿan yamīnī nūrā, wa ʿan yasārī nūrā, wa fawqī nūrā, wa taḥtī nūrā, wa amāmī nūrā, wa khalfī nūrā, wa-jʿal lī nūrā.

Meaning:
O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my sight, and light in my hearing. Place light on my right, left, above, below, in front of me, behind me, and grant me light.

Virtue:
This dua was recited by the Prophet ﷺ during Tahajjud and on his way to the masjid. It reflects the desire for spiritual enlightenment and protection.

🕌 Dua When Entering the Masjid

Option #1 – Seeking Protection from Shayṭān

Arabic:
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ ، وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ ، وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ ، مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

Transliteration:
Aʿūdhu bi-llāhi-l-ʿaẓīm, wa bi wajhihi-l-karīm, wa sulṭānihi-l-qadīm, mina-sh-shayṭāni-r-rajīm.

Meaning:
I seek refuge in Allah the Supreme, in His Noble Countenance and His Eternal Authority, from Shayṭān the rejected.

Virtue:
👉 “Shayṭān says: ‘He has been protected from me for the whole day.’”
(Abū Dāwūd 466)


Option #2 – Prayer of Mercy

Arabic:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ …
… اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي ، اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Transliteration:
Bismi-llāh, wa-ṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūl-illāh. Allāhumma-ghfir lī dhunūbī. Allāhumma-f-taḥ lī abwāba raḥmatik.

Meaning:
In the name of Allah. Peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, forgive me my sins. O Allah, open the doors of Your mercy for me.

Virtue:
👉 Recommended by Prophet ﷺ as a duʿā to recite upon entering the Masjid.

🚪 Dua When Leaving the Masjid

Option #1 – Asking for Allah’s Bounty

Arabic:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

Transliteration:
Bismi-llāh, wa-ṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūl-illāh, Allāhumma innī as’aluka min faḍlik.

Meaning:
In the name of Allah. Peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You for Your bounty.

(Muslim 713, Ibn Mājah 771)


Option #2 – Protection from Shayṭān

Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ اعْصِمْنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

Transliteration:
Allāhumma-ʿṣimnī mina-sh-shayṭāni-r-rajīm.

Meaning:
O Allah, protect me from the accursed Shayṭān.

(Ibn Mājah 773)
